Yohji Yamamoto's graffiti coats appear as being painted by the dreamlike gesture of Olle Olsson Hagalund. In this sense, two masters and their creations evoke an implicit brotherhood between Sweden and Japan.

I love the perfectly unfinnished, provisional. Reminescent of moving blankets, the grainy fabric structure feels like a ready-made brought into hourglass shape. Bare legs and arms underline this element of flawless flux.

Best Of Jil Sander

Jil Sander Fall/Winter 2000 - 2012

The image of Jil Sander has always been linked with a minimalist aspect. Purism and simplicity. Once regarding a whole decade, the aesthetics do not appear so radically restraint. Clothes that are subtly complicated from the inside. And intellectual from the outside. Personally, I think that it was Raf Simons who revived the brand's true essence and character of what everyone primarily perceived to symbolize Jil Sander.
