Pigs are the key elements of the brandnew debut collection of upcoming fashion star Willi Waibel, who presented his label today in an exeptional environment: the office corridor became the catwalk, or should I say pigwalk? Loved by the New York it-crowd for oh-so-fluttering plastic cuts, Waibel, the man who never shows his face in public, will soon become an icon of bloddy butchy womanswear and the darling of German Vogue. Willi Waibel’s muse brimmed over with enthusiasm: "Die neue willi-waibel-collection ist absolutly outstanding: irgendwie down-to-earth und doch aufreizend raffiniert. Ich bin begeistert!"

Some might have wondered, some might have called the police. Well yeah, what happened to good old Lynn? I can tell you I am OK. Tired, no make-up but oh so happy. To give Horst some backup after all his work on this blog I will do a none-creative run of my mood. Sorry that's all I can come with by now but just wait until tomorrow cause then my plane is leaving.
"Jedes Töpfchen hat sein Deckelchen"
(For every pot there's a lid)
But wait! What about the lady in blue? Will she ever find her Mr. Right, the perfect lid? When you look at the guys in the background, there seems to be some flirty tense in the air. So I guess there's hope...

All fashion Models own
Somehow I have the feeling these silver fashion girls don't only share memories but the same sense for fashion. They know each other so well, they can pick their outfit blindly and still make a fantastic look-alike couple. Isn't that moving? Longlife-friends who set trends. Allover patterns, white trousers and high waist skirts are so hot right now. That's for sure. A fact obviously also well known among our street models, the grey-haired-permanent-wave ladies. And please pay attention to their matching shoes and handbags.

German fashion design is often discreet. A best kept secret. But Horst spared no pains and seeked out a real on-the-top.
All clothing Mongrels in common
Good things come to those who wait. Fashion design based in Berlin that can keep up with an international level. So watch out and grab their pieces when you get the chance.
P.S.: They have nice things for women, too!

When it comes to fashion, Sweden is the class winner.
Left So Last Season Spring/Summer 2007
Right So Last Season Autumn/Winter 2007
Within the next few days I will try to find something German that can keep up with this high approach to menswear... will I succeed? Maybe Lynn can help me out...

Please hold on tight. Just as we thought Germany has its fashionable and inspiring sides we already have to suffer a great backlash.
Honestly, I don't know how to describe that. Yes, short shorts for men are hot. And yes, guys can wear handbags. And ok, a beard isn't such a bad thing. But here something definitely went wrong. Especially the fat, tattooed thighs make me throw up in the figurative sense.

Here's another icon of German style. La crème de la crème. Our female German beast: Heike Makatsch, not to be confused with Angela Merkel. Also known as the Ex Bond girl. For those who don't know (shame on you!!!) she's the ex of Daniel Craig. And now she's fishing for money 'cause her lover is gone ...for good.

Yes, the German style deserves disrespect. In most cases. But there is still hope. And it's our ambition to show you the other side. Places you'd never expect to discover. People you'd never believe they exist. Because there it is: uniqueness, class and beauty. We will show you. Believe me.

Hello, let me introduce to you: Rüdiger.
We met in a train, travelling along the Rhine. The landscape was so beautiful. The rocks, the vineyards, the picturesque buildings. I was always hoping to see Lorelei, the little mermaid of the Rhine.
But I only saw Rüdiger. Hours for hours. Eating his slimy tomato and starring like an idiot (sorry, Rüdiger, but I have to be honest). So, share with me my panoramic view:We thank you for travelling with Deutsche Bahn.

Once there was a granny. Relaxing and sunbathing in front of the window of a well-known design shop. Maybe she had a mental disorder. Maybe not. But one thing is for sure: she's a lady. A lady with style. A lady with manners. A lady with a smile on her face. No matter how hard life is. No matter how stupid people are starring at her. And last but not least: no matter how expensive the chair is she's sitting on. She's the next generation of a display dummy.
When you walk through the streets of cologne, you possibly get the chance to see some progressive fashion statements as shown here. Please notice the mismatched shoes of the girl in the good old net lace dancing skirt - an eternal classic. Or the crutch of the guy in orange. For causes in law, I decided to show the picture blurred... I don't want anyone to be compromised, of course. And it's not due to a lack of talent or photographic skill, no no!

Shirt Second Hand
Shoes Bruuns Bazaar
Underwear Triumph & Hugo Boss
Yes! So finally the introduction of a regular fashion report. Regular can be quite "expanded" and that's more than welcome cause we or rather me won't necessarily have the time to give an update every day, probably neither every week. But hey, enjoy anyway!.

Guitar plectrum worn as necklace Stylists own Golden watch Woolworth
Striped Roll-up Tee H&M
Suede shoes Swear
Mess is good. Less ís more. So i picked for you one outfit for every occasion: sophisticated & casual, extravagant & discreet, expensive & cheap. Let's go for a shopping spree.
I felt like they had to be published quite early. They have obtained a high value in my wardrobe as well as in my everyday life cause they are comfortable AND breathtakingly gorgeous. Thanks to Horst, my worshiped discoverer.
P.S.: They are called "Findig", isn't that the sweetest name ever?
P.P.S.: My cell phone camera is a disaster.
The hottest street look right now: back pack
Lynn says: "Especially Eastpack still is ultra hip. Germans are always recognised due to them or thanks god to their outdoor rain repellent clothes. Always candy for your eyes on Stockholms streets. Oh, and not to forget the more fashion ones who wear bootcut jeans." Surely, there will be more to discover about those "Deutschländer Würstchen"...

Hi there. For me, Horst, the German dream of a man, flying to a foreign country is very exciting. Especially when I am not in company of my breathtaking beautiful friend Lynn. But I decided to suprise her with a little arrival-gift. After leaving the office I went straight to my favorite shopping place. I thought about something funny and sexy, a pair of comic socks perhaps...? I quickly found, what I was looking for. But then, this wonderful woman appeared and catched me right away with her sleek sense for fashion. I really adore her, you will surely understand. But I had not the courage to talk to her... sometimes I hate myself. Will I ever see her again?
Lynn that's me, Horst is in a meeting. So we will take off without him. He might catch the next plane. So what's this? Crazy people doing boring stuff? Or vice versa? Will say boring people doing crazy stuff. Neither nor. We want to check out prejudices and what was Horst saying: "Kötbullar: ugly fat people". Cause we like to tease and provoke. That's part of our business. So you better fasten your seat belts because this trip will have some uncomfortable turbulences. But take it slow we will start smoothly.
Have a pleasant trip!
