Interestingly, Martin Margiela has been working with Hermès from 1998 to 2004. It allows us to witness his approach to tailoring before the essential act of deconstruction. The graphic sartorialist.

Belgian Hot White Chocolate

As fenke commented in our Chritian Wijnant feature "Belgian fashion is just great". And the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp always stands for excellent graduates such as bruno Pieters who worked as assistant for labels like Martin Margiela or Christian Lacroix Haute Couture. In march 2006 Karl Lagerfeld photographed bruno for “Madame Figaro” magazine. The photoshoot featured 30 of Paris best designers...


But there are two things I don't like: the model and the shoes...

Perpetuum Mobile



For some dressing up is an art form, for others clothes by itself are pieces of art. For me it's maybe both, it's what you make out of both concepts. Because fashion is a more than a game, it's self expresion, it's irony, it's virtuosity.
