The Spell

Alexander McQueen Spring/Summer 2009

This collection was quite ingenious. Especially referring to one aspect: the slimming use of colour and construction. In fact, it is one of his strongest collections. Decent and yet impulsive.

Pudel

Pudel Fall/Winter 2009

Shiny coat, rolled-up jeans and black boots. I don't need summer anymore. Just give me worn and washed-out blackness.

Threeway

Attachment Spring/Summer 2009

All I can say is that I love triangles. Tie pins and collar tips have been absent for too long now. Painfully long. Revived in geometric shapes, they bring back subtle glamour to menswear.

Better Single Than Double

Filippa K Fall/Winter 2008

I am jacket addicted. This one definitely needs to go into my wardrobe. But I bet they don't have my size or it's not cut slim enough. Ähem, I mean big enough, cause Horst is so fat.

Up & Down

Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2008

Is he totally overrated or just a genius? My admiration goes up and down. And up and down. Maybe because I've listened to Vengaboys too much these days. Anyway, what Marc did for fall is up!

Rest Cheap

Stockholm Fashion Week continues. And I have to say: I really liked the fashion shows of Resteröds and Cheap Monday. Both labels showed some of the best outfits. They had the coolest hairstyles, great music and really special models. Slim sihouettes, nice shirts and men with beards... Really adorable.
