Post New York II

A false encyclopaedic guide to the menswear collections, presenting:
Jeremy Scott Fall/Winter 2012

1. Jean Paul Gaultier Spring/Summer 1994
2. Janet Jackson 'Runaway' 1995
3. Flower wrap

Who doesn't love a boy toy wrapped in fluorescent plastic, just like a box of white chocolate truffles. Especially when paired with the archaic Jean Paul Gaultier, respectively Janet Jackson 'Runaway' nose chain.

Inner Friction

1. Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2011
2. Christina Aguilera Dirrty, 2002

What about chaps? The former horseback riding equipment and subsequently sexualized artefact is living its shadow existence in dark room bars. Unfortunately, it's dark in there.

Advanced wrestling suits. For the eternal gender fight. You'll have to scream if you want this series to stop. But in this game No means Yes. And Yes means No. Till nobody wins. Till the world ends.

Fox Tales

Jeremy Scott Fall/Winter 2011 vs. Prada Spring/Summer 2011

When the idea of pop is completely understood. When references are sucked in, chewed up and spit out again. When copying is allowed. Then, we don't have another scandal, we just witness a postmodern quote.

Second Epilogue

Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2011

Last night someone heard my prayings and sent a plastic raincoat for men down the runway. Accompanied by fetish leather gear and a garbage bag dress for girls. I must admit, I never loved Jeremy Scott more.

In Sync

Photo Stylesightings

I really fancy this old school, Laura Ashley meets the Netherlands, all-over print. Styled to perfection with chest hair respectively kitten mask and nice plateau heels.

Let's Do It Again!

Jeremy Scott Fall/Winter 2008

I'm curious which fashion icons we will see in his dresses. And how will the men's collection look like? Anyone already discovered it?

I want it tee way

I'm not the biggest fan of egypt stuff like pharaohs, pyramids and mummies. Maybe some of you know this eye-poisoning terrible and ugly colored glitter sand paintings, can you remember? I hate them! But when something is so bad it hurts, there's something undefinable that appeals to me. And that's what I feel when I see these tees:

Left Brendan Donnelly
Right Jeremy Scott

Brendan Donnelly and Jeremy 'God' Scott seem to share the same idea. And it works, I cannot help but loving the motif. I want it!

Robyn wears Jeremy

Check out Robyn's video "Handle Me". She's wearing the mind-blowing Happy Daze collection of Jeremy Scott (see HorSTYLE Lesson No7). I love the guitar dress!

Robyn just knows how it works.
