Actually

Yes, they look good. Especially on the record sleeves. Posing with ugly dogs, wearing bow tie or a BOY cap. I have the whole collection and examnining the artwork and discovering new details again and again is like meditation. And somehow I even start to like the fact that after a while of listening to records, the dust blocks the needle so you have to get up and clean it before you can enjoy listening to 'Always On My Mind' again.

More Than This

Long-time desired black laced leather boots 6,-

Vintage button-down shirt with horn buttons 8,-

Elton John's most romantic hits (very rare cover with white piano and kitten) 0,50

Saturday was an amazingly beautiful day. Crispy cold but sunny. Perfect for a little flea market stroll (snips see above), a coffee with beloved friends and later in the evening a beer and the new (very boring) Woody Allen movie.

2 Become 1

I love folding vinyl sleeves. Sophie and Susie love 'em too! Everyone who shares this obsession has to have:

Prince and the Revolution - Parade
Tina Turner - Foreign Affair
Diana Ross - Why Do Fools Fall In Love
Brigitte Nielsen - Every Body Tells A Story

Heart Of Stone

Now I know where my obsession for sheer fabrics comes from: Cher. And today at the flea market, I bought one of her best records: Heart Of Stone. Listening strongly recommended!

Love Affair

My new passion: Walking through the streets of London and browsing through record stores. There is nothing more relaxing and calming. And I love my founds. Especially when they only cost 10p.

My New Love

Brigitte Nielsen - Every Body Tells A Story

I found the record at the flea market and I am totally in love. The pictures on the inlay are amazing. She's posing with a baby lion wearing light denim and her platinum blonde hair. Grrrr.

Current Listening

Once upon a time on my way to a bar in Munich I found a bag at the sidewalk. It had a note on it saying "record player for take-away"! I checked it and it was a really nice one. Minimalistic and made of stainless steel. Now I can finally enjoy my vintage vinyl - especially the NKOTB Love Mix 7".

No One's Gonna Love You

This track is woefully beautiful. And the cover of Cease To Begin just screams for delphins glittering in the moonlight. But unfortunately (or serendipitously) Band Of Horses did without.
