While other collections (unuttered reference to Gareth Pugh's pale descendants of death) scare me, these soft silhouettes and geometric black & white prints just captured my heart. /HORST
Raw edged frills, unbleached toile cotton, printed crinkle effects. A design exercise that incorporates mock-ups and mishappenings as an undeniable and necessary part of the actual result. The word final does not exist. Instead, it recreates itself through garments that resemble unfinished sentences, accompanied by a light and apparitional question mark, dangerously wafting in the air. /HORST
Video stills from the first film by Collier Schorr for Tim Hamilton Spring/Summer 2010. Gym. Muscles. Sweat. Strong arms grasping a rope. Exhausted bodies, raw hands. /HORST
The nearly embarrassing fact that I am looking at the collection in endless repetition leads to the inevitable conclusion that it was just breathtakingly amazing. Therefore, some more details to venerate the broken delicateness. /HORST
I am counting the days. Until my heart will beat be in Paris again. I will taste Ladurée macaroons. I will smell the perfume of fashion editors. And I will behold the beauty of past and future fashion design. /HORST
Nothing is more important right now than Prada, haha. Of course we will have to wait for Jil Sander for a final judgement. But I like the transparency, the raw edges and the glossy surfaces. /HORST
After all the womenswear shows, we need some men! London finally gives us some testosterone - although in slightly soft and alleviated doses. Pastels and sheer are strong. Undeniably. And we love it. /HORST
It seems I may have discovered my adoration for crinkled objects. Evolving an image from the obvious to the mysterious. Every kink an additional layer of construction and composition. /HORST
Little Horsti proves the right intuition. One day presented or worn by the Kitten Lover himself, next day part of a fashion spread. Of course this is pure coincidence, but let me believe in my extrasensory powers. /HORST
Nigel Tomm himself describes his work as Most Famous & Super Popular Art. His interpretations of high-gloss photographs are raw and pitiless. Very ironic and also very superficial. Crunched and then pressed into digital squares to maintain the original shape. Destruction without destroying. /HORST
