Complementary Goods

1. Piet Hein, Ursa Major Candelabra
2. Bengt Rosenström, Rammsjö Sideboard

The interior of my apartment solely constitutes itself of piled magazines. A hybrid between gallery and book shop, hence the particular need of furniture. An almost endless process of research and consideration.

Post Paris XV

A false encyclopaedic guide to the menswear collections, presenting:
Issey Miyake Fall/Winter 2012

1. Heather and Ivan Morison Black Pig Lodge, 2011
2. Michael Jackson feat. Janet Jackson Scream, 1995
3. Jean Tinguely Relief Méta-Mécanique Sonore II, 1955

A collection that succeeds where others fail. The programmatic approach to texture manipulation results in a 3D pyramid layer created of multiple triangles that partly protrude with each movement and reflect not only light but aesthetic history.

Miusing Escher III

1. Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2011
2. M. C. Escher Rippled Surface, 1950

The similarities might appear very abstract. But once watching the campaign movie Muta, the implication of rippled water becomes self-evident. Eventually, we see the exact same image. Twice.

Cliff Hanger

1. Comme des Garçons x Speedo
2. 1950s Vintage
3. Dior Homme

I am currently undergoing a fixation for speedos. Black, tight, minimalist. Comme des Garçons, Dior Homme or, obviosuly, Speedo. Who will advice and guide me to the best package?

Modus Operandi

1. Giorgio Morandi
2. Atelier Giorgio Morandi, Bologna, 1989–90
3. Giorgio Morandi, Natura Morta, 1952

Same same but different. Please compare the work shown above with this recent photo booth experiment. Things of similarity. Maybe I do live in a parallel place of mind?

Horst Decoration, Issue 3

1. Kast sideboard Vitra, Tropicalia chair Moroso, Vases Olivier Gagnère
2. Sofa Moroso x Diesel, Candles Maison Martin Margiela, Lamps Tom Dixon
3. Bed frame IKEA, Wooden clogs and butterfly collection Vintage

Welcome to my sister's home. Dipped in soft bubble gum and sorbet colours. An ode to the Fifties and Sixties in hues of pink, pistachio and moss green. Op-art surfaces confronted with post-conceptual irony.

Irrational Poets

1. Damir Doma Fall/Winter 2011
2. Allen Ginsberg, still taken from the movie picture Howl

Formal and conservative on the top, derangedly casual at the bottom. Shirt, tie and cotton shorts. I've verified this composition as the perfect look for the next couple of pre-summer days. Underwear as outerwear.

Bare Back

1. Unknown & Alexander Calder, Untitled, 1953
2. Unknown & Jackson Pollock, Lavender Mist, 1950
3. Pietro Franch Graduate Collection & Eduardo Chillida, Untitled, 1996

Usually, Horst can only be seen wearing black. So adding another non-colour to his non-colour range is a huge achievement. And just between us girls: he's enjoying it. All-nude.

Best Of Miu Miu

Miu Miu Fall/Winter 2000 - Fall/Winter 2010

Women: paisley, frills, flower embroidery, pleating, plateau heels.
Men: studs, stars, ties, brooches, sandals & socks. School girls and nerds.
Apples and pears. Naughty virginity versus daring naïvety.
